believe. FATCA: A Tool of the Electronic Surveillance State.
I’m too FATCAed out tonight to read it in detail, but I wanted to post it for others to see. It is a good companion to Hazy’s Elephant In The Room. Neither of them are what any of us should be reading shortly before bedtime!

Sorry if I disturbed your sleep. I go offline early in the evening. I spend enough time in front of a screen all day!
I often think that I shouldn’t watch the news late at night either.
It’s so easy for persons or groups such as Tax Justice to frame FATCA just as a way to get at tax cheats. Jim’s posting shows that the true nature of FATCA. goes way beyond tax evasion. As such, it is very dangerous.LikeLike
