Declaration MastheadIn Solidarity, by Unanimous Declaration of Independence of the Maple Brock Sovereignty Alliance on this July 4, 2014 proclaims:

When in the Course of human events it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with another and to assume among the powers of the earth, the separate and equal station to which the Laws of Nature and of Nature’s God entitle them, a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to the separation.

Changes from the original Declaration are in bold. It was stunning how applicable the original words were to the tyranny being applied to us today.
American founders would be outraged at what their country is doing–and proud of what their descendants are doing to fight for our unalienable rights.

    Beautiful – great work! Frankly, having come to Canada at such a young age, the declaration of independence has never meant anything to me, personally. However, it’s a great vehicle to show what the US is now doing, and how different it is from what the founders meant it to be.

    Well done Lynne! We should all be aware that United States tyranny is not just coming to Canada but it is unfortunately a global phenomena.
    From now on, the 4th of July is a day of mourning for me. The US is reminding me of Nazi Germany except they are using financial blackmail instead of death camps.

    Is this what once “sovereign” Canada now condones, the Harper government passing the implementation of U.S. FATCA law in Canada (omnibus Bill C-31) to override the rights for a segment of Canadians, guaranteed in the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms?
